Chronograph Grande Date
Loyal to tradition, the new Chronograph Grande Date associates a dainty mother-of-pearl face and a self-winding heart with several complications within a model featuring generous gem-set lines.
The new Chronograph Grande Date houses Blancpain Calibre 26F8G, a mechanical selfwinding movement composed of 495 parts. The 38.6 mm-diameter case in 18-carat red gold set with 40 diamonds, totalling to 2.235 carats, is water-resistant to 3 bar.
Its sapphire back provides an opportunity to admire the finishing lavished on all its parts and reflecting that of all Blancpain movements, as well as to admire the graceful femininity of the petal-shaped oscillating weight. The crown is set with a diamond.
Tradition born of innovation - Blancpain was founded in 1735 in the Swiss Jura by Jehan-Jacques Blancpain and is the world’s oldest watchmaking brand. Over the years it has invented countless complications, remaining ever-faithful to its tradition of innovation, and this quest for invention still drives the Master Watchmakers of the Manufacture today.
Blancpain is determined to push the boundaries of its inheritance through constant self-renewal and improve its timepieces by constantly challenging watchmaking constraints.
Thanks to its capacity to develop exceptional movements, the Manufacture has launched no less than 32 new calibres over the past nine years, a testimony to the remarkable creative spirit of the brand.
The philosophy of “Tradition of Innovation” is expressed in every single model of the range: the legendary Fifty Fathoms diver’s watch, the classic Villeret collection as well as the high complication Le Brassus collection, the sportive L-evolution line, and the Women models.
